The Skyline PTA’s main goal is to get families involved with their child’s education in and outside of school. We are made up of parents, teachers, school staff, and extended family members. Parent volunteers play a very important and valuable role in helping with school events, raising money for Skyline, and serving as positive role models for their children. Some of the ways we raise money are through membership dues along with Family Movie Nights and spirit wear sales.
Public schools are depending on more limited resources at this time. We are fortunate to have great teachers educating our students without tuition at Skyline. To help manage the budget cuts, parents have generously contributed school supplies and donations. These efforts combined with help from Skyline PTA have made it possible for programs to continue. Money raised is also used to help pay for field trips, teacher appreciation events, and gifts to Skyline school. Thank you for becoming a member of Skyline PTA and valuing not only your child’s education, but also every student at Skyline Elementary School.
We have monthly meetings which are posted on the parent bulletin. Please feel free to join us. There are many ways you can become more involved with your child’s education. Please contact the principal, Mrs. Banister, and Skyline PTA if you are interested in volunteering at school events and fundraising.
